A picture of a cylinder where the blue and red vertical the lines go smoothly from one to another. In the middle the cylinder appears to have a hole, under which the tone seems it's supposed to be a shadow, but it's not. The color tones are chosen by eye the ability to perceive colors, therefore when looking at the red the blue appears to disappear or vice versa. From afar, it seems picture different than up close.
