The project was created by artists from Estonia, Lithuania, and Georgia who were brought together by the need to address the urgent issues of our time. The artists are from diverse backgrounds and cultures, but all share a common concern for the state of the world and a desire to make a difference. The project's artworks are created in various mediums, including music, photography, sculpture, installation, and Augmented Reality & Artificial intelligence. Each artist has brought a unique perspective to the project, and together, they have created a powerful and moving collection of artworks that will inspire change.
In the post-apocalyptic world of "The Future Is Now", the remnants of humanity have banded together in small groups, each fighting for survival in a hostile world. The land is littered with the ruins of civilization, and the skies are dark with the ashes of the past. But amidst the darkness, there is hope. The survivors have banded together and are using their knowledge and skills to rebuild the world. They are using the resources of the past to create a new future, they become the new pieces of the Homo Novus.
“Homage to Kin-Dza Dza / The Future Is Now” is a collaboration project of different medium artists as photo artist & curator Temuri Khvingia, performance and sound artist Erik Alalooga from Estonia, Ar & Ai artist & inventor Gleb Divov from Lithuania and Techno musician & composer Marsieli Somali From Georgia. The project is curated and brought to life by Temuri Khvingia / OKAPI gallery from Tallinn, Estonia.
