/ ALANA PROOSA
Alana Proosa is a photographer and musician, partly active in performance art. He studied semiotics and cultural theory at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Tartu University and photography at Tartu Art College. Proosa has worked as a teacher and lecturer in photography at the Estonian Academy of Arts, Tartu Art College, and other Estonian educational institutions. As a photographer, he is fascinated by various subjects - he has photographed portraits, fashion, urban landscapes, and a lot of theatrical photography. He is especially attracted to the subject of transgender and the study, photography, and portrayal of the respective culture and person.
